The usual Halloween monsters are gone entirely, replaced by a twisted holiday cast: elves ranging from mischievous to openly predatory, an evil Teddy Bear, and a Mrs. Claus–type figure quietly preparing meat pies that clearly aren’t made from reindeer. The exterior façade is charming, whimsical, and storybook-like, setting the tone for an adventure rather than a straight horror experience. Inside the year-round Ghostly Manor Haunted House, the theming feels inspired by classic haunted house cinema—very much reminiscent of the House film series, with House 2 influences clearly shining through in the Aztec room. Scene-to-scene transitions can feel intentionally chaotic, but that works in the haunt’s favor. You move from clowns to crypts to shadowy corridors quickly, which keeps the experience playful and unpredictable.
