Haunted Hidden Hollow 09/27/2025

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/5 (4.2/5) - Overall Rating: High Personality, Heartfelt Haunt

We visited Haunted Hidden Hollow and had a fantastic time exploring this hidden gem in Crossville. Even though it’s a smaller haunt, Haunted Hidden Hollow delivers solid scares, immersive theming, and a lot of personality.

1. Staff & Actor Performance

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, setting the tone for a fun, spooky night. The actors were enthusiastic, clearly enjoying their roles, and were a huge part of the experience.

  • Standout Interaction: We had a guide who did an excellent job keeping the group moving and engaged, and one of the scare actors actually joined us on the trail—he ended up being even more scared than we were, which added a lot of charm and humor to the whole experience!

2. Haunt Experience & Theming

The haunt is family-friendly but still fun for adults, with a trail winding through the woods and cornfields. Masks and costumes blended seamlessly into the woodland setting, creating a wonderfully eerie atmosphere.

  • Highlights: We were impressed by the lighting effects, which were reminiscent of Astrolumina in Anakeesta. A covered bridge section was a blast, letting us rock out to Halloween tunes before finishing the trail.

  • Icon Sightings: We even caught glimpses of some familiar horror icons, like a certain mischievous little trickster and a tall, menacing figure from a classic horror film—always a fun surprise for longtime fans.

  • Extras: The non-actor corn maze adds great replay value.

3. Pacing & Flow

The pulsed setup gave each group a personal experience, which we really appreciated, especially for a smaller, walk-through trail.

  • Logistics Note: We came at the end of the night, so we didn’t take advantage of photo ops, but staff were clearly welcoming and would have likely helped if we’d asked.

Final Verdict

It’s clear the team puts a lot of love and effort into the experience. While there’s room to grow in special effects and variety, this hometown haunt is perfect for families or adult haunt enthusiasts, and we’ll definitely be back!

The HauntNighters Takeaway

Haunted Hidden Hollow is a must-visit regional attraction that punches above its weight due to the sheer personality and dedication of its cast and crew. The atmosphere is genuine, the pulsing is excellent, and the blend of family-friendly fun with solid scares makes it accessible for all.

PRO TIP: If you love a haunt that feels like a passion project, this is it. Don't rush through the Midway area or miss the non-actor corn maze. Make sure to engage with the highly charismatic actors—you might even end up with a traveling companion!
