How We Score Haunted Attractions

Our rubric is designed to evaluate haunted attractions as complete experiences, balancing atmosphere, performance, technical execution, and overall guest experience.

The goal is not to punish or reward a particular style of haunt, but to identify what each attraction does well and where it can improve.

I'm sure we'll evolve it even further as issues arise.

Update 4/20/2026: Date Night has evolved into Shared Experience. Rather than focusing on a couple-specific vibe, this now measures how well a haunt creates moments people can actually share—whether you’re on a date, with friends, or just making a night of it.
